Asian Banker Award to C-Edge & MGB

Maharashtra Gramin Bank and C-Edge Technologies Ltd have been named winner of the Best ASP-based Programme Award 2012 in the sixth Asian Banker Technology Implementation Awards Programme, at an event held at Bangkok Convention Centre in Bangkok on the evening of April 26th 2012. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the prestigious award winning Asian Banker Summit 2012, the foremost annual meeting for decision makers in the financial services industry in the Asia Pacific region.
Maharashtra Bank was able to migrate 324 branches where little automation previously existed to a well established core banking system in just 77 days thanks to a hosted solution in the cloud from C-Edge Technologies Ltd.C-Edge’s core-banking solution is used by numerous regional rural, urban and district co-operative banks in India which makes the hosted core banking solution affordable for the banks and a sensible business proposition for C-Edge Technologies Ltd.
Maharashtra Bank adoption of the core-banking solution has been transformational enabling the bank to realize multiple benefits. These include cost efficiencies in IT infrastructure, quicker and timely compliance with regulatory requirements, and the ability to offer better products and services to customers.
The awards programme, administered by The Asian Banker and refereed by prominent global bankers, IT consultants and academics, is the most prestigious of its kind. A stringent three month long evaluation process determined the winners from across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

NABARD selects C-Edge – TCS for India DCCB implementation

After a Rigorous evaluation process, NABARD has selected TCS – C-Edge for computerization of District Central Coop bank ( DCCBs) & State Apex banks in the country. The first phase covers the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu which totals to 70 Banks with over 2300 branches.
